Geogard®
Italmatch Advanced Water Solutions have been present in the Geothermal market with the Geogard® portfolio which consist of a state of the art chemical solution based on the synergistic effect of phosphonates and polymers. Geogard® products have been specifically design to inhibit and control scaling and fouling which may occur under the most severe geothermal conditions.

- Geogard® CA: Scale inhibitor for Calcite, used in geothermal applications with temperature < 150°C
- Geogard® ACA: Scale inhibitor for Calcite, used in to geothermal applications with temperature < 150°C. Specifically designed for warm-humid environments to avoid potential microbiological growth
- Geogard® HCA (Ready to Market): Calcite scale in geothermal wells for temperature > 150°C up to 250°C
- Geogard® SB: Scale inhibitor specifically design to control Stibnite scaling
- Geogard® SX: Amorphous silica inhibitor specifically designed for geothermal brines containing up to 400ppm of silica
- Geogard® SX2: Amorphous silica inhibitor designed for geothermal brines containing more than 400ppm of silica
- Geogard® SX3: Amorphous silica control specifically designed for geothermal brines containing highly charged cations (Al3+, Fe3+)
- Geogard® N: NORMS scale inhibitor specifically designed and developed to control scaling and fouling related to Ba and Sr sulfate
