Lumiclene®
Lumiclene® is Italmatch Advanced Water Solutions new series of enhanced smart-tagged polymers, specifically designed and developed to provide superior performance as scale inhibitors and dispersants for Industrial Water Treatment applications, in both open recirculating and closed cooling systems.
Scope of use:
- Online monitoring of product dosing using a fluorescent meter

- Only calibration needed, once before to start testing
Lumiclene® line currently consists of two solutions:
- Lumiclene® 2101 – solution designed to provide superior antiscalant and dispersing performance for CaCO3 and CaSO4
- Lumiclene® 2102 – developed to offer superior performance as scale inhibitor and dispersant for Ca3(PO4)2, Iron Oxide and Silica
Lumiclene® products have fluorescent properties which can be easily detected with a dedicated online probe or portable fluorometer instruments commonly available in the market.
Unlike already-existing products, such as PTSA, Lumiclene® is a real time monitoring polymer, allowing to determine the real concentration of the polymer present in water in actual time–direct approach.
Lumiclene® shows no interferences in which may contain Belclene® polymers, Dequest® phosphonates, steel and yellow metals corrosion inhibitor. It is also stable in presence of both oxidizing agents and non–oxidizing biocides commonly applied in industrial open recirculating and closed cooling systems, such as Bellacide 355 (TTPC), Isothiazolone, DBNPA and Mayosperse 7700 (Poly-Qua).
